Terms of service

Last updated October 23, 2026

Agreement

These terms cover your use of the Keymail app for macOS and this website (together, "Keymail"). By downloading or using Keymail, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Keymail.

Who we are

Keymail is made by Danny Chait ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].

Using Keymail

Your accounts and providers

Keymail connects directly to the email and calendar accounts you add, such as Google, Microsoft, Apple and Yahoo. Your use of those accounts stays subject to each provider's own terms. You're responsible for the accounts you connect, for keeping your Mac secure, and for the mail you send. How Keymail handles your data is explained in the privacy policy.

Acceptable use

Don't use Keymail to send spam or unsolicited bulk mail, to break the law, to harass anyone, to access accounts you aren't authorized to use, or to interfere with any mail provider's service.

AI features and agents

Preview features

Features marked "Preview", such as Outlook and Yahoo Mail support, are still being built. They may change, behave unexpectedly or be removed.

Updates

Keymail checks for and installs updates so you get fixes and new features. We may change, add or remove features at any time. The roadmap describes plans, not promises.

No warranty

Keymail is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that Keymail will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will never lose or misfile mail. Keep your own backups of anything important. Scheduled sends and snoozes run on your Mac, so they only happen while your Mac is awake and Keymail is running.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or business, arising from your use of Keymail. Our total liability for any claim about Keymail is limited to US$50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you, and nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

Ending your use

You can stop using Keymail at any time by signing out of your accounts and deleting the app. We may stop offering Keymail, or your right to use it, if you break these terms.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, the new version will appear on this page with a new date. Continuing to use Keymail after a change means you accept the updated terms.
